- The business for sale is the 1st Portfolio Management Company fully licensed by FINMA in Switzerland for sale.
- License obtained in 2023.
- Onboarded with VP and Sygnum banks.
- Has CHF, USD & EUR accounts plus crypto wallet in the Swiss bank.
- Was previously an SRO regulated with Polyreg. Currently, it is fully regulated directly by FINMA.
Scope of activities
The FINMA license allows for conducting the following services:
- the right of disposal of individual portfolios belonging to third parties;
- the provision of investment advice, portfolio analysis; and
- offering financial instruments.
A Portfolio licensed company for sale is permitted to provide financial services as the SRO scope of activities in addition to asset management services.
The portfolio manager license also allows managers to be active as:
- a manager of collective assets under a de minimis threshold and if distribution is limited to qualified investors;
- a manager of funds of occupational pension schemes, also under a particular threshold.
